Hi, I'm Tracy.
As a practicing attorney for the past 15 years, I know the destructive effects of burnout firsthand. I lived with severe depression, anxiety and adrenal fatigue for most of my career but felt too financially stuck to quit. I dreaded waking up nearly every single day, but was too afraid to let my law degree "go to waste" by starting over and doing something else. I tried everything to feel better--including changing jobs--but nothing helped.
That's because even though law practice can be stressful, it wasn't really the problem.
See the photo of me below? Even as a brand new graduate, the patterns of burnout had already been showing up in my life for years.
Lawyers are often given surface-level advice to simply be better at "self-care" or are given reactive strategies to deal with stress, rather than tools to deal with underlying, root cause issues. We try things like yoga and meditation, only to find that it seems impossible to quiet our minds...it's like trying to go from 100 to zero. Ironically, our logic and the ability to express ourselves, convince, persuade, rationalize, reframe and consider different perspectives--all of which likely serve us very well in our career--can actually derail us by keeping us stuck in our own heads.
Thankfully, through my own healing process I gained a deeper understanding of how the subconscious mind and our nervous system affect virtually every aspect of our behavior, thoughts and experiences--the body keeps score.
Now, I work with highly creative, empathic and brilliant lawyers who feel stuck in high-stress jobs that are literally sucking the life out of them, leaving them unable to share their amazing gifts and talents with the world.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also referred to as tapping, is a powerful type of holistic healing that focuses on a mind-body connection, promoting greater nervous system regulation. You will be guided to lightly tap on specific meridian points (the same meridian points that have been used in acupuncture for thousands of years) on the head, face and upper body using your fingertips, while focusing on a specific memory, issue or problem. I will often have you repeat certain statements out loud, but you are always in full control of what you say and do. Although tapping is considered a form of alternative/holistic energy healing, it has been clinically demonstrated effective in improving many issues, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
100%! Although I am not a licensed therapist, what happens in our sessions stays in our sessions.
I know how valuable your time is. Although it depends on your unique situation, most clients report experiencing a noticeable improvement after the first session, with continued improvement over time. Multiple sessions allow me to observe your patterns and challenges in greater depth, with each session building upon the last. I offer several packages for clients who would like a more comprehensive experience. To honor the fact that you are investing in your healing and growth at this level, all levels of my packages offer unlimited text and e-mail with me to provide additional support and answer questions between sessions (no chat bots here; I will respond personally every time within 24 hours).
For those of us who fit within the "burnout archetype", we often have trouble accepting help and try to do everything on our own...but you wouldn't try to DIY your own dental work, would you?! Of course not!

There are tons of EFT/tapping videos available on YouTube and other platforms, as well as other "do it yourself" resources to learn the basic technique; however, much of this content contains abbreviated methods or shortcuts. Even if you don't choose to work with me, I strongly recommend that you choose another certified practitioner or licensed therapist who utilizes tapping. As a reminder, I am not a therapist or medical professional. You should consult with your healthcare provider before beginning any alternative healing practice.
A properly-trained practitioner can also help you see your "blind spots" and has been trained to ask the right questions to help identify core issues and subconscious programming that you may be unaware of. That being said, my goal is to empower you in your own continued healing by properly teaching you this technique so that you can use it on your own for most day-to-day issues and stressors, with occasional "tune-up" sessions as needed.
